LENZE – Frameworks for Industrial Automation Applications (OT meets IT)

The use of programming frameworks is a common technique in IT application development. Adapting this technology to the development of OT applications provides great advantages, mainly related to the reuse of code, the possibility of working in teams and the reduction of start-up times, but it can also generate problems if it is not applied properly. During the session we will analyse the advantages, but also the disadvantages, of using this technology in the development of OT applications.
