Roadmap to the Autonomous Plant: operational efficiency as a lever for competitiveness and industrial decarbonization

Operational efficiency is one of the most direct levers to advance in industrial decarbonisation. This keynote presents the Roadmap to Repsol’s Autonomous Plant as a real large-scale industrial transformation program, structured in technological domains and supported by a transversal infrastructure. The session addresses how the integration of automation, robotics, digitalisation and artificial intelligence makes it possible to optimise processes, reduce consumption, improve asset reliability and minimise unnecessary interventions in the plant. All this is articulated through an operating model that combines technology, processes and people, giving rise to a scalable industrial program.
