The Digital Twin of the Plant is a pillar in the digitalization of the Ferrol Shipyard 4.0 consisting of a 3D virtual replica of a physical product that evolves from the data captured throughout its life cycle. It allows you to know in real time the status, use and environmental conditions of infrastructures and facilities, providing valuable information to improve design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance. Through data analysis, IoT and machine learning, it enables simulations, predictive, corrective and preventive actions. At Navantia Ferrol, the Digital Twin of the Plant promotes the modernization of facilities and integrated industrial management through an advanced HyperSCADA with multiple subsystems and a dedicated Integrated Control Center.
