Transforming Industries: Innovation for Net Zero

The roundtable “Transforming Industries: Innovation for Net Zero” will analyze, with prominent speakers from the industrial sector, the role and contribution of innovation in achieving the goal of zero emissions. Through successful case studies, a broad view of some of the initiatives driving the transition towards a more sustainable industry will be provided, and the main challenges faced in the development of technologies will be addressed, evaluating their current development and the obstacles in their implementation. Lastly, efforts at the European level, such as the Net Zero Industry Act, will also be discussed, along with the maturity status of these policies and their impact. The roundtable will be moderated by Blanca Chocarro, EIT Community Program Manager of EIT Manufacturing, and will feature the participation of prominent experts.
