Joan Ortega Alcaide is a mathematician and industrial engineer from UPC, holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a PhD in Robotics from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA). He is the CEO and co-founder of YK-Robotics, where he drives solutions to democratize industrial automation. He has over 10 years of experience bringing state-of-the-art robotics into industrial environments.
