Automotive Innovation Corner 2026 by CIAC

In the year of the 10th anniversary of Advanced Factories Innovation cannot simply be described – it must be demonstrated. And in 2026, the automotive sector once again gains a remarkable stage on which to showcase its most forward-thinking ideas.

Cluster of the Automotive Industry of Catalonia is pleased to announce the launch of the 11th edition of the Innovation Corner, a space where the most disruptive projects meet the industry that is actively reshaping the future of mobility.

This year carries a particularly significant milestone: the 10th anniversary of Advanced Factories. A decade as the essential gathering for advanced industry, and the perfect setting in which to highlight the solutions that will drive the sector’s next major leap forward.

Why submit your project?

Because at the Innovation Corner, you do not merely present an idea – you place it before the industry that has the power to make it grow.

Companies, start-ups, technology centres and universities selected by the jury will have the opportunity to deliver a three-minute pitch in front of professionals, decision-makers, the media and key leaders shaping the future of the automotive ecosystem.

Following the presentations, the networking space at Advanced Factories becomes a fertile environment in which to connect, collaborate and unlock new opportunities. A moment designed for projects to expand beyond the stage and into real impact.

Total number of projects presented: 98 projects

Over the course of all the editions of the Innovation Corner, 98 projects have been presented, showing an evolution in both volume and thematic diversity. Since a first edition with a strong emphasis on mechanical and materials innovation, the Innovation Corner has progressively incorporated advanced solutions in digitalization, artificial intelligence, electrification, hydrogen, connectivity and sustainability. The significant increase in projects demonstrates its capacity to capture real and emerging challenges in the mobility and automotive industry.
