Germany is the fourth economic power in the world, and first at European level. With more than 82 million habitants, Germany is the most populated of the member states of the European Union.
In the industrial field, it is generally known that Germany has a great advantage over other European states and; in fact, Germany is the cradle of the Industry 4.0 and the main precursor of it.
Currently more than 65% of German companies already use or plan specific applications of Industry 4.0, according to the monitoring report of the initiative Platform Industrie 4.0 of the German Ministry of Economy, published in April 2017. With the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies, only in Germany an additional added value potential of 425,000 million euros is foreseen for 2025.
Germany today is the hotspot for Industry 4.0, a term that already represents a global brand.
